Monte Carlo

Hello everyone! This is my first post and I am very excited to start this new journey! For a long time now I have wished to create my own blog and today I finally decided to do it!

I chose for my first title the destination of Monte-Carlo because this city break gives everyone a chance to savour the high life. There are stunning sea views,  shopping, gourmet dining and of course, the luxury lifestyle. No matter how you get there, Monaco offers spectacular Belle Epoque hotels, Michelin-star restaurants, concentrated designer shopping, and first-class cultural and sporting events (including the Formula 1 Grand Prix).

My favorite hotel is the Hotel de Paris, but if you are a fan of Nikki Beach then the perfect place to stay in Monte Carlo is hotel Fairmont. They have a rooftop pool with the signature Nikki Beach and there you get to have the best views for the Forumula1 Grand Prix. Hotel Fairmont also has one of my favorite Japanese restaurant called “Nobu”.

For a good French restaurant I chose Joel Robuchon located in hotel Metropole, it has 2 Michelin stars and excellent prices. Tip: make sure you book a table before going there. I was pleasantly surprised to see they have a nice discreet door for the bathroom. If you wish to go to Monte Carlo and you have a low budget u can choose to stay in Beausoleil or Menton, they are located just next to Monte Carlo. For those with a lower budget you can find delicious food at restaurant “Le tip top” or at “Cafe de Paris” where you get to enjoy the view of the casino and Hotel de Paris.

Walking around the steep centre of Monte Carlo, I found delicious acres of greenery in well-tended and expensively planted public gardens. The clifftop garden near the Town Hall provides a startling view of the old harbour. If you love boats, Monte Carlo is like a candy store for kids for luxury yacht sightings. Same goes for the car enthusiast – if you want to see Ferraris, McLarens, Porches and Lamborghinis in their natural habitat, Monte Carlo is the place to be.

Monte Carlo is a very luxurious place, everybody is attired elegantly. With this in mind I chose to wear palazzo pants from River Island, Roberto Cavalli top and a Hermes Birkin handbag.

My pool outfit is Mazzy Bikini by Agent Provocateur and my evening look is a dress from Abyss By Abby.

Whether you want to get away to relax in historical elegance, refresh your soul on a French Riviera beach in front of the beautiful Mediterranean, enjoy sumptuous world-class cuisine, or visit a cluster of luxury outlets, Monte Carlo truly does offer it all.
