Greetings from Stockholm!
I have been staying here only for one day but I’ve enjoyed it to the fullest. After my arrival I spent the whole day walking in the Swedish capital.
Sights you definitely must see are the Vasa Museum at Djurgarden, where you could also have a nice walk in the park and see the Nordic Museum. On the same road you will find the Abba Museum just next to the Pop House Hotel. I recommend that you stay there, as it’s very convenient and it has a great location. Then walking by the Strandvagen you will pass the Royal Dramatic Theatre. Further important must-sees are the Gamla Stan, the historical centre of the city – and the Nobel Museum, the Swedish Parliament, the Opera House, the Royal Palace, the Stockholm City Hall and the Stockholm Concert Hall.
The Normalm is the shopping district of Stockholm where you can find all kinds of luxury and retail stores, as well as shopping malls like the NK Department Store.
For restaurants, I can suggest the Brasserie Vau de Ville or Sjöcafeet in Djurgarden.I’ve enjoyed my stay very much as the people are very friendly and open. Nearly everybody speaks perfect English, which made it convenient to get information when needed.
